Blue Sphere Labs Creates Online Presence for Where Ya At Matt Seattle's Newest Food Truck
Matthew Lewis realized his lifelong dream of bringing his favorite
foods, like Po-Boys, Muffulettas,
Beignets and good coffee,
to the folks in Seattle when his food truck finally hit the streets of
Seattle on July 30th, 2010.
Blue Sphere Labs started working with Matthew in April of 2010 and helped Matthew
every step of the way, from helping to decide on the right logo and wrap for the truck
(through a 99 Designs contest), to setting up his Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube account.
The name "Where Ya At" is a phrase used in New Orleans to mean, How
are you? or How are you doing? In Seattle, Where Ya At has a new meaning. It is the growling need of a Po-Boy and Beignet that can only be satisfied by a big red truck. When a craving for Soul Food hits, the first thing to mind is, "Where Ya At Matt?"
Matthew has his
locations nailed down for lunch, but you never know where else he might be later in the day or night.
Blue Sphere Labs worked with Matthew to meet the need of a fast, easy to update, website and chose a Google Site for the platform because just like his food, freshness is the most important ingredient.
The site is easy to access, even from his phone, easy to update and totally customized to match his brand. Matthew can easily insert his YouTube videos and his Twitter and Facebook updates are displayed on the site for ultimate real time information.
The goal was to develop the brand and build a fan base before launching the truck. It was amazing to see social media in action. Word spread quickly about the new, totally kick-ass food truck getting ready to roll. People were spreading the word on Facebook and Twitter, Matthew's story started to get picked up by Foodie blogs including, Seattle Met Magazine, and Thrillest, and got the attention of the Canada Food Network who filmed Matthew for an upcoming series on gourmet serving Food Trucks across the US.
The reviews are awesome! If you don't mind the language, checkout this review from Seattle Weekly's food critic, The Surly Gourmand:
Matthew Lewis is one of those people that you can't help but love. He is passionate, dedicated and one of the hardest working guys I know. No wonder he has so many fans already!
Check his Facebook page.
The way I see it, Blue Sphere Labs doesn't just help people with Google Sites and Social Media Marketing, it is about launching dreams!
Where Ya At, founded by Matthew Lewis, specializes in New Orleans street food
and brings
a little bit of soul to the streets of Seattle.
